Message from the Board of Directors

Dear Sangat:

The health and well-being of our Sangat is our top priority. As the situation around coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, the Board of Directors want to take a moment and share some updates:

• We are temporarily closing the Gurdwara Sahib until May 17. We will continue to update our Sangat as and if required.

• We are currently providing lunches to Frontline Workers, free of cost. We prepare, pack and deliver the lunches. This week (week ending May 2) we provided approximately 2,300. We hope to go over 5,000/week, as demands arrive. Food served is different beans and rice with banana or apple and occasionally pasta with banana or apple.

• We have received great compliments on the food served and the handling of the food. We are proud of this effort by our Sangat, Board of Directors and Bhai Ji’s. It’s a great team effort and we thank the team.

• If you would like to Volunteer in the preparation, packing and or delivery of the lunches, your services will be greatly appreciated.

• We understand many of you may be feeling the upcoming financial pressures in a manner like our Gurdwara Sahib, if you have the capacity, any donations you would like to make will be appreciated.
